COME TO SACRAMENTO - MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 23
DEMAND BUSH PARDON BRYAN EPIS & END WAR ON ALL MMJ PATIENTS
PATIENTS SEEK STATE REFUGE ON CAPITOL LAWN.

All medical marijuana organizers and activists in California are needed for what is shaping up to be a major medical marijuana mobilization to Sacramento on the 23rd! Starting with a press conference and rally outside the Epis sentencing hearing at the Federal Building at 9 am, moving to a demo at the Capitol starting probably around noon, and later a civil disobedience action somewhere, there is a watershed event in the works for MMJ! AAMC is co-sponsoring, and we are looking for every MMJ & drug policy organization in CA to endorse.

Since the WAMM raid, more people from all over the state are mobilizing for Sacramento, and buses are coming from Santa Cruz, LA, SD, Orange County, Humboldt and the Bay Area. Our target is to bring at least 100 people from every MMJ hub in California. We are trying to arrange housing for those from afar who need it.

We need everyone's help! You can:
1. Collect sign-ups of people to come, and either rent a bus or organize a caravan.
2. Gather endorsements from organizations & known individuals.
3. Collect petition signatures for the Epis pardon - we will use them during our action. Petitions can be downloaded from our website, as well as signed on-line.
4. Artists greatly needed for posters, flyers, giant puppets, banners, & other props.
5. Organize a candlelight vigil for those unable to come to Sacramento in your town in solidarity the night before. See our website for planned locations, and add to the list.

To attend a civil disobedience training in Sacramento Sunday the 22nd; endorse the day of action; request housing; or anything else, contact the ASA office.
